A fwd email received from my friend ..

  • A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.
The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.
The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.
Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.
The little girl said, “When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah”.
The teacher asked, “What if Jonah went to hell?”
The little girl replied, “Then you ask him “.

Well iam starting to write this after just finsihing up a movie. FIGHT CLUB. It was really a conflict of one with himself .

It was only after watching this i realised ANNIYAN was so very messed up .

Its a fact that all of us want to be something else than what we are.More powerful … To be able to do what ever we want and not be afraid of others or this society .

The new 6 seater 320 Hp, 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe is due to release in market tomorrow Jan 10th. I was surfing the T.V channels and suddenly I saw this commercial about the Chevrolet Tahoe. What really caught my eye was it’s new feature : Rear Parking Assist. It uses the sensors located in the rear bumper to detect any stationary objects behind the vehicle while reversing at low speed! I thought it was cool :O! The warning system provides audio and visual warnings as you approach a rear hinderance. This feature is optional in the Tahoe LS & LT1 models.

Though you still would have to look over your shoulder while reversing the car,

A few minutes before the Church services started, the townspeople were sitting in their pews and talking.
Suddenly, Satan appeared at the front of the Church.
Everyone started screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate.
Soon everyone had exited the Church, except for one elderly Gentleman who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seeming oblivious to the fact that GOD’s ultimate enemy was in his presence.
Satan walked up to the Old Gentleman.
Satan : Don’t you know who I am?
Gentleman : Yep, sure.
Satan : Aren’t you afraid of me?
Gentleman : Nope, sure ain’t, WHY SHOULD I?

Rang De Basanti - When I heard the title , it reminded me of the movie Sholay ( Hema Malini’s screen name was basanti ). I thought it was some pop album until later my sister asks me if I heard the songs. She is a fan of A.R.Rehman and his compositions. Well, who is not?

I like his songs and was excited to hear his tunes for this movie.

These are the songs I like :

1. Masti ki Paathshala
- sung by Naresh Iyer, Mohammed Aslam
This song is much liked by everyone …I see my friends singing this song .. n so do I ;)
Loose Control :)

2. Masti ki Paathshala, Be a Rebel
-Blaaze, Aslam, Naresh Iyer
The lyrics are the same with a little variation in the music
Be a Rebel

3. Rang de Basanti
- Daler Mehendi, Chitra
I’ve always been a fan of Daler Mehendi . A mixture of punjabi music .

King of brown comedy!

Thats right! Russell Peters, will be in San Francisco on January 14th to amuse the audience with his overt mockery of all ethnicities - none spared!

To see what I am talking about, here is a google Video of Russell Peters performing live on Comedy Central!

Russell Peters Photo

A Canadian-born Punjabi, Russell, likes to touch upon daily life events with a helping of comedy doubled by a spicey dose of the familiar ethnic-accent touch, especially the Indian accent (or should I say, accents? .. just because there is such a wide variety of them based on which part of India we come from).

It is hard to enjoy his style if we take offense but deep-down he has a philosophy about how the world is merging pretty quickly and everyone will be beige one day (no more white, black, brown, yellow etc.) !! Worth the ride.

Tickets are available through ticket master here for the 8:00pm and the 11:00pm.

What makes this show all the more fun is that it is a recording of his first live DVD!
