POSITIVE THINKING
February 14th, 2006 by J.Sridharan
THE GOD SAVED HIM! THANK GOD!!
The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed ashore in a small uninhabited Island.
He prayed feverishly for GOD to rescue him.
Every day he scanned the horizon for help.
Got worried as none seemed forthcoming.
Out of wood available there he managed to build a little hut for his protection.
Daily he used to go and search for food. One day when he returned, he was shocked.
Smoke was rolling up in the sky with flames from his hut.
Alas!
Very worst had happened.
Everything was lost.
Depressed was he.
He was stunned with grief and cried “Oh God, how could you do this to me?”
In early morning next day, he was wakened by the sound of a ship, near the island.
Men came to rescue him.
The weary man asked the rescuer, “How did you know I was here?”
He said, “We saw your smoke signal.”
Assisted by the men, he left the Island.
Never lose your hope.
Keep in memory, that GOD is there to help everyone.
G O D is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering.
For all negative things we have to say to ourselves, GOD has a positive answer for it.

@Vanilla:
THANKS for YOUR RESPONSE

What we need today is
to know that there is a GOD,
and that we can see
and feel HIM here
and now.
We want everything but GOD,
because
our ordinary desires are fulfilled
by the external world.
So long as our needs are confined
within the limits of the physical universe,
we do not feel any need for GOD.
It is only
when we have had hard blows in our lives
and are disappointed with everything here
that we feel the need for something higher;
then we seek GOD.
