The dots of life :)

Where did u hear this last “The Dots..” a condomn ad ? ha ha
well not really iam going to talk abt the dots and how they connect to our lives.
U have a series of dots .. u walk and find that you have actually connected those dots from the past to the current position.These dots can be anything your past incidents …past life . But the ting is you have connected them and you will be connecting them in future too.
And more often than not a dot is an indication of your current position.So what others call as fate( ur destination is what i would take as dots) .
But the interesting thing about these dots is you can only connect the dots from your past not the ones in future.
It takes me to this story .
When steve Jobbs was at college . He never liked the routine subjects he thought , they are not heloing him to do what he wants to and hence dropped out of college.His colllege(REED) was very famous for calligraphy.It was fascinating art for him ,the space between fonts ,. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can’t capture, and he found it fascinating. and ten years later when apple was founded and Mac being made, all these came in to his mind and there was born the fonts that we all love to use, their proportinate distance was fascinating , and since windows just copied Mac people would never knew what it would be like to use different fonts if not for that small lectures on calligraphy.. Who would thought those would be apart of Steves life but he did that and y ? the answer is because he loved to.

And thats what we should also try and do. Look for what you love and as it is the case with all matters concerning love, you kow it when u see it. failures are awful , yes accepted ” It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes ” is true as well, sometimes when you are successfull failures can help you. When the heaviness of success is replaced by lightness of a beginner you feel rejuvenated and you start with all vigour again .
Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. convinced that the only thing that kept him going was that he loved what he did. You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.
Stay hungry stay Foolish was all he said to finish off his speech at stanford university but let me assure thats a message for all those people who have a vision for themselves , let not the medicrities around you bog you down , for success as i beleive is always jus a step ahead of what your are doing and thinking.
Let not the darkness of failure scare you . For its a fact with nature… Sunsets and darkness envolopes only to make way for the Bright sunshine a few hours later. and then the cycle repeats itself.
The pleasure more often than not is in the journey of a mile than the milestone itself , Keep doing what you love and iam sure we will have milestones as we look back at us . Well lets not forget the dots too.

as i said u should search for success in ur own terms !
for what sounds a success to me may not for u
but herein i see people running behind “success” which may not be reall in their own terms. Need for social recognition i guess i sthe driving force.
i woul dpersonally stay out of that race ! knowing well i could be lalbelled a loser inspite of the fact that iam not one !

yea.. I heard that speech that Steve Jobs gave in the convocation and I loved it !
What was gripping about it though was that it was very personal, sounded very impromptu and came straight from the heart !
When I looked at the dots I was wondering what you wrote and how steve jobs linked to it but it is a nice interpretation taggy!! good one !
