I missed a rather interesting conversation that Amardeep helped spin on his blog, almost two weeks ago. He attended a Russell Peters act in Philly and decided to blog about Peters’ deaf jokes that possibly offended him.
I remember watching Russell Peters on youtube a couple of times and on one of those shows, he goes after the ‘dumb & deaf’. However, in all fairness, Russell Peters starts the act with a warning (” This is just a comedy show, donot judge me by what I say..”) and ends the particular act that I saw with a strong defensive line to win back the crowd after some heavy boos (something along … “What is wrong with making fun of a dumb & deaf girl? She is perfectly happy with who she is…Remember that when a baby is born , she knows only two emotions - to laugh or to cry..)
One of the comments in the post by Ms. Baroque add some gravity by roping in Sacha Baron Cohen and his run-away box office

I guess its payback time in web search. Anil has this nice post on Google Web history in which he subtly manages to sneak in a referral link to Blingo as a bait to the unsuspecting reader like me. It is nice to know that I am in good company though
Talking about Blingo, it is a portal/tool that gives awayprizes for web searches to random winners. The last I checked, my Google web search history had about 6000 searches since its inception. Why not make the most of it and start the race for a Ford Escort that is part of the Blingo ‘bling bling’ giveaway now

Now that’s a scam! A friend sent me this link today morning..
Thousands of Japanese have been swindled in a scam in which they were sold Australian and British sheep and told they were poodles, The Sun newspaper reported today.
Flocks of sheep were imported to Japan and then sold by a company called Poodles as Pets, marketed as fashionable accessories, available at $1,600 each.
That is a snip compared to a real poodle which retails for twice that much in Japan.
The scam was uncovered when Japanese moviestar Maiko Kawamaki went on a talk-show and wondered why her new pet would not bark or eat dog food.[…]
