Someone from madpilot.com.au left a weird comment on one of the posts that taggy did a few days ago.

The post was about how taggy used twitter to post cricket scores to his friends who are interested in tracking them on their mobile phones.

The comment was surprisingly relevant but was bordering on spam, considering the fact that it was very abstract, not to the point and was likely generated by some spa-m-achine.

Nice Work!

That is what is great about the internet, other people taking your ideas and molding them into something that is useful for them.

Fantastic! :)

Nonetheless, I decided to check out the website. So, I decided to type in the url (instead of clicking on the link) and went to their site. It turns out that they have some pretty cool products!!

One of them that really fascinated me enough to sign up was their social version of a time tracking system called …88 miles. I like how you can tag your time, sort it into projects and essentially even use a stop clock (web page based) to monitor how much you worked on a certain part of the project. I liked the idea and signed up and surprised to see them say

“We hate spam on our inbox or our bread”.

I was like, hellooo, your comment on my blog was not exactly context sensitive either :) !

Anyhow, I like what they did with the 88 miles time tracker thing and so chose to link to it. No link love to the Mad pilot site though…coz I am still mad about the very-likely bot-generated, not-so-relevant spam-ment (spam OR comment ??).

[UPDATE: The context-insensitive ads from kontera really bug me at times. Check out the ads on this post for example]
