Hi Friends,
I am writing on “Word of the Worlds” after a long time. Life becomes challenging managing so many things, especially after one starts working. But, I always agree, that people can take out time for their interests and passion. I have also been taking out time for my interest i.e. writing, but for long time it has been offline then online.
A kind of trying to convert some dreams into realities, but anyways I am not going to bore you with stuff about me and come straight to the topic.
In this phase of introspection and silence from blogging, I watched many movies and read many books apart from usual work routine. I want to share about a movie, and two books (I am still reading one), which I really liked.
I watched a Hindi Movie called “Cheeni Kum” few days back. The movie is a romantic special as it shows romance between a 64 year old man and a 34 year old woman. The romance between them is simple, just like any other romantic pair of permissible age difference by the society.
They are together because they like each other. Its not infatuation, neither compromise and nor erotic. I felt while watching the movie, as if they are one of the best couple, I have seen in both reel and real life.
Tabu and Amitabh, both have acted very well, and I would recommend this movie to all those, who wants to see the simplicity of love between a couple minus the age difference.
I really liked the movie, may be I like more than many people, because I never felt age difference while making frens in life and some day I may fall in love with an older woman. Anyways, try out this movie, chances are most of you will like it.
One of the recent book, I really liked is by Anita Desai, an Author with an impeccable command over English. This Booker prize winner penned “The inheritance of Loss”. I would term it as a social fiction, which travels miles between America, England and remote parts of India, with such an ease.
The novel revolves around some 10-12 characters who are struggling to settle in a place, where they don’t belong to (immigrants). A very surprising thing was the kind of detail, Anita knows about life in a small town or village in India. The psychology of people, the behavior, and the description of the physical features of a land, all seems perfect.
A very good read for all the book lovers!
The latest book, that I am reading (it’s a 950 page fiction) is “Shantaram” by Gregory David Roberts.
The book is a fiction, some sort of Autobiography as well, mixed with lots of his personal experiences. This is a book depicting the black and white shades of Mumbai through the experiences of the Author, who was a Drug dealer and also an absconding criminal lands in Mumbai, and makes Mumbai his first home. He stays in a slum in Mumbai, and narrates his day to day experiences from selling drugs, running a health clinic, working with Mafia, acting in Bollywood to falling in love. The majority of story revolves around Colaba in Mumbai, especially Café Leopold, where he meets many people, observes lots of things and discuses on philosophies of life.
This book is an internationally acclaimed one, and very famous among all the Mumbai lovers. I also heard from one of my friend, that a movie is going to be based on this book and is going to star Johnny Depp, as the Author. I recommend this book, not because of my love towards Mumbai, but the love towards adventures in life.

Living more than 6 long years in Delhi, the hot bed of Indian politics, power, money and the best place in India for getting educated has made me sensitive towards many social issues. I remember how upset we used to get and also charged up, when we used to hear so many crimes against women. I don’t want to repeat the cases, as there are so many and remembering them makes me angry and upset.
But, today I felt a sense of satisfaction, hearing the TV news, that the culprit of Priyadarshini Matto case has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the high court. Priyadarshini was raped and murdered in January 1996 at her residence in the Vasant Kunj, South Delhi by the son of an influential IPS officer.
“The people were infact loosing hope in this case, when the trial court acquitted the killer of Priyadarshini. But, the credit goes to the family, the responsible citizens of this nation and the law who left no stone unturned in getting the justice I am thankful to all the youths who made a tremendous effort to keep the struggle alive and contributed in getting the justice delivered, though delayed. There have been communities on Orkut regarding Priyadarshini and Jessica which kept the youths motivated to conduct candle walks and kept the light burning in the minds of the people and the law. Beside, these all the people who used their blogs to write on such issues have definitely contributed in the “Rang de Basanti” effect.
Now, we are eagerly waiting for justice to be delivered in Jessica case and hope the law keeps itself flying high like the Matto case.

One thing which I really enjoy in Hyderabad is sipping coffee, Masala Chai and eating apple pie in Café coffee day with my friends and sometimes even alone. It’s not that the café coffee day of Hyderabad is unique or the best among all the coffee chains in other cities, but more because I don’t have much hangout options in Hyderabad, other than the EAT Street in Necklace Road.
I generally like going to the café coffee day in S.P Road, near the Pizza Hut. Though, there is a café coffee day in lifestyle mall also, but my friend told me, that it’s small and very crowded. Well, the one in S.P Road is quite ok in terms of space, but in evening it becomes very crowded. I enjoy going more in the afternoon when I can get a Sofa to sit and have coffee with relaxation as there are not many people around that time. I feel, they should put more Sofas in their outlet and increase their space too.
Hmmm…. My idea of discussing coffee with you all is to share some of the observations that I made during my visits which I found it quite interesting.

hi ,
I have been missing writing so much these days, but this time I feel a great urge to write. Infact, I never thought I would be writing something about the babies..but they are just amazing!
Babies , I think the most cutest word in the world dictionary . I came around a pair of babies(twin)and couldnt stop myself writing.
I was having my dinner with my frens in my company cafeteria and saw a group of people having their dinner on the table in front of me. There was a pretty lady trying to handle the babies , as the babies were very restless.hooo!!! but the most interesting part was that in a span of 5 minutes around 4-5 young ladies sitting on different tables came to the mother and started asking for the babies. the glow on the face of these ladies was so bright , as if the babies had 4-5 mothers. Me and my frens were amazed, that such is the magnetism of babies that it attracts everyone and never repels.
I have always loved watching discovery and NGC showing animals loving their babies and this makes me think that the world is so beautiful. I wish someday that it could have been so good , if “babies remained babies”….
love to all the babies of this world !!!

Hi all,
I am relocating myself to Hyderabad after spending some wonderful time in my home town Jamalpur, Benaras and Delhi. I made some great friends in my life though few in numbers. We all must have made such frens, or may be fallen in love and then loose them, though not exactly.
I have made an amateurish attempt to convey the feeling of making great frens and loosing touch with them through the words.
Naam Gum jayega …..???
Remember the day we first met,
I asked who you are,
And you said your name.
I don’t see you any more,

“Eleven minutes” is the latest book, I read of my favorite author PAULO COELHO which caught my attention. I am not writing the book review, because I am not qualified enough to assess his books.
All those who haven’t read the book, I would like to give a brief that the story revolves around a Brazilian prostitute and her journey to real love in this not so beautiful or the most fascinating world.
However, I was not able to relate myself to the outward subject line of book which revolves around the pleasure of sex and real love ( for those who want to know about this strange name, it is derived from the time taken for sex which takes around roughly eleven minutes, as per the author, anyways this is not the soul of the book).
But, the thing which I want to relate myself is the adventures the central character
