well, atleast he was one of them. Gopal Godse is the brother of Nathuram Godse ,the man who actually shot gandhi.
In a rare interview to the media, he speaks about the assasination and according to him:
” Someone asked
me whether Gandhi said, "Hey Ram." I said Kingsley did say it. ”
Have a read here.

yeah ! i am just done with the implementation of openid for my blog
first ,what is an openid ?
OpenID is a URL based identity system. An OpenID identity is simply a URL, and all the OpenID specification does is provide a way to securely prove that you own that URL.
Unlike most identity systems, OpenID is completely decentralized. The end-user may choose whichever server they are most comfortable with, and may even run their own if they choose.
how does it help ?
It helps a lot especially if you use a lot of websites and try and comment on many ,openid ensures you have to use just one login across all those servers provided they

I have been having this question for sometime now with rupee gaining more and more with respect to dollar .
India has been seen as a big hand in IT primarily due to the Infosys ,TCS and CTS and also to the big American companies who have opened up here .One of the main reason behind this being that India is a developing country and hence the cost of human labour or infrastructure .What happens now if rupee gains much more strength against the dollar ?
What reasons will the american companies find to hire more talent here ? and bear the rising cost ? .As most of our IT is about outsourcing iam sure they would be affected too ,their services would become costlier .And as such we don’t have may product companies that can run on .
How do you see this happening ? will our jobs go down and go probably to another developing countries ?

A look at the Allahabad court’s homepage can surprise you . look at the image below
They have RSS feeds for Judgement and News .They maintain openstandards for web publishing ,documents .Amazing example of how FOSS can improve any organization and also the role it can play .You can download all their judgements and news in ODT format and even better news the judge Hon’ble Mr. Justice Yatindra Singh, has a blog and also here .
That’s not all ,their webmail runs on the popular web client Squirrel Mail ,FAQ sections explain why Open Document formats are preferable and their success story in adopting to FOSS .
http://www.allahabadhighcourt.in/calendar/itemWiseList.jsp?group=12 .
Its worth a read the Judge’s blog .May be its time we bring in people like these in to light about how foss can bring about a change in any domain not necessarily IT . AT his blog he talks in length about FOSS and open standards .He has also written a book titled

Yes , you heard it right .You can have a conference chat/talk using your GoogleTalk or basically Jabber server.
You can download the bot from here . Its coded in python and hence you would need python installed ,the rest should run smoothly .
Steps
1 . Create a userid@gmail.com which will act as the bot .Its not a complex code but a very useful once since now all chats get automatically logged and serves for some good record .
2. unzip the bot.zip ,cd bot , ./bot.py and it will prompt you for the account credentials .I dont have the link for original site since my friend had just passed me on this archive.Anyone who finds the original site, kindly mail me the link so that i can add it here .
3. now in your GTalk add the userid@gmail.com as friend and it will immediately tell you the status and chat users who are on the list and enjoy MU ( Multiuser chat) .
Here is the screenshot
For discussions regarding glugt please add glugt.nitt@gmail.com and you shall find all the GLUG-T junta .

Punjab has always been a land where peace existed but only by numerous agreements and compulsions.Slightest provocation could possible throw the state of functionality and that has what happened in the past one week .The violence between the hardline sikhs and the more liberal Deras has put the state out of control .
Of all that interests me is todays statement by Sikh head priest giving deadlines .
22 May : Apology from the Dera swami or State wide bandh ,considering that the state has very very rarely gone on strike that too from akali dal
27 May : All dera establishments removed ,and lands vacated .
30 May : cases against the dera head ,handedover to CBI .
else suicide bombers arranged to vacate deras.
The point i want to ask is Who are the sikhs to ask deras to abandon their faith .For a country that boasts of secularity and democracy ,can anyone force people to abandon their religion or faith ? What would happen if the sainiks in mumbai would call for a strike demandng removal of all darga’s ? can we give it in to them ? .wont it be a failure of democracy ?? .
and using violence to achieve this is even more insulting to our constitution .Right and wrong can always be argues but Faith and religion are best to individuals themselves and attempt to force on the issues will only provoke emotional responses and leading to terrible violence all over .
The next few days will be interesting how things roll out .Will the government have the guts to stand up and preserve the democracy or will it indulge in petty politics and try to remove the deras.Remember it was the dera community that voted against akali dal and supported congress in the previous elections .
