You probably heard about Pinocchio and the infamous Whale named “Monstro” that he walks into. For those that did not like me, Pinocchio was Walt Disney’s second masterpiece made in 1941. It won an Oscar for the Best Music, Original Score for the song “Wish Upon a Star.” In 1989, it won an ASCAP award for Most Performed Feature Film Standards for “Wish Upon a Star” again. The story about Pinocchio goes like this:

Pinocchio is a little puppet made by Geppetto, a wood carver, who wishes that the little Pinocchio would somehow magically transform into a real boy! His wishes are heard by the blue fairy who grants them. However, (and here is the catch 122) the blue fairy tells Pinocchio that he can turn into a little boy only if and when he listens to his conscience and becomes “true”. The blue fairy also makes a little cricket, called

I keep laughing whenver I listen to this song Doorie due to the lyrics… The first time I heard this song Doorie’s Lyrics was when I went to India, my cousin started singing this song.. I said ” kya bakwas gana ? He smiled and said .. “If I sing it will be bakwas only.. listen to the song first?” He played that song for me.. coupla days after, while we were having lunch, the video song was playing on TV… he jumped outta his chair.. rushed to the TV. Looking at his excitement, even I ran. When we came back, I asked him “what’s his name?” .. This time he was serious and said, “Are you playing with me or you really don’t know who that guy is?” I said, ” duh! I really don’t know him” … He tapped on my head and said “You pichi (aka idiot) that’s Atif Aslam.. The Atif Aslam” during the whole lunch time he kept telling me the history of this singer. My cousin is all crazy about Atif Aslam and so are most of my friends…

Where’d you go..

Concertos for Four Horns

I am not a huge fan of horns but I found this compilation of concertos more than mildly interesting. I know, it is sort of bland for an otherwise drum-relishing music lover like me and please donot ask me who the artists are or what is it that appeals to me here but just try listening to the samples and see if you like it or hate it.

Either way, this is certainly not my music, just by itself, and donot judge me by it …

..but if you listen, liked and enjoyed it like I did, do drop a comment :)

This phenomenon called rajni is back with his latest movie titled his own name with a tagline thats true to his status here ( The Boss ) .As it happens with every rajni film ,there is anxiety ,talk over the undisclosed amount he has been paid for his work and the number of records it can break, which more of ten than not are records set by his own films.
Chandramukhi ,his last film was a clear example of it,grossing 100 crores and running in theatres for more than a year .

What makes sivaji even more special is the looks of rajni ,director shankar is always known for the pre releasy hype with his films ,we saw vikram dressed in weird costumes before anniyan got released and the same with rajni .The rajni that the stills show is the guy you would see his billa :) ,the dress and stills definitely bring to memory the more enrgetic, stylish phenomenon called RAJNI.

A delightful film really ,one of those rare movies i have watched over 2 times in a span of 10 hours. The story is all about a simple piognant gal called lolita who grows up with a rich neighbourhood boy called shekar. The relationship which builds as a friendship then comes down to love as they grow big.All the while when lolita`s father took a loan from shekar`s rich father which he would never be able to pay.

All is fine until we have Girish jumping in from london ,which then stirs shekar`s mind about their relationship and in a short time it all turns down ,the relations get sour and lolita`s moves along with girish to london.enraged shekar`s tries to marry another girl what happens is something probably you should see.

What i liked most was the stubborn love lolita had for shekar and his confidence
