What do the popular TV show Heroes, the great Mauryan emperor Ashoka and the Power of Flight have in common ?

Enter the world of the Nine Unknown Men.

After much research, it turns out that some of the claims made by Don Voniken who first talked about this secret society in his 1960s book, “Chariots of Gods”, turned out to be unscientific. Seers from everywhere, including the Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, have confirmed that excerpts from books like the ‘Vaimanika Sastra’, largely communicated orally from person to person, do not seem to be models from an engineering lab but are more like literary miracles conjured by some Indian equivalent of Jules Verne.

300 spartan apples went to war against heavy odds and a nonchalant senate. The rest is madness and heroism that oozes out of being the ruthless underdog..err..sorry…underapple.

MassnMurdProductions created this awesome stop motion epic saga using unbelievable creativity and countless hours of hardwork.

Free Rice is in the news now and I am addicted to it from the moment I read it on Seth’s blog.

Its interactive, fun, educative, immersive and supports a good cause.

I could swim upto level 40 on it but I am happy that the time I spent chasing the road to no town was helping a good cause after all ! I donated around 2000 grains finally. By no means a big measure but a reasonably better way to spend time online compared to my usual searches for youtube content :)

Hope you will enjoy it like I did !

I love seeing unread mails but today wasn’t a good day .I just recieved the news that Thamarai selvan passed away .No he wasnt my friend but i did get a chance to interact with the team .I wished he lived longer :( not to be though .

I did what i could ,donating a small amount of money and also help spreading the word by blogging on My own blog and At Archie’s . He has been under treatment for more than a year for Aplastic_Anemia .

Archir behen anduday bhai were generous enough to donate the money they earned through their blog for a year for his cause and i take this chance again to thank them for this gesture ,it may not have saved him but it atleast tells me ,there are still enough souls alive who don’t mind giving their bit for others.

It makes me feel very sad and upset such things have to happen but also a grim reminder all our days are counted as well .

I convey my deepest condolences to Thamarai selvan and his family and also a word of appreciation for KCG Tech and his friends for making this effort until the last breath .

We might have been unlucky this time around but iam sure some day some other person ,some other place we might be able to save other’s life .

I know i have been away from my blog for some time ,but i this news was too big for me to handle ,so i thought may be i should share it with you guys .

Keep Faith !

I reproduce the mail i recieved from Alex below :(

Wondering what’s with the title? It’s another picture from my jelly fish collection that I took at Monterey Bay Aquarium. They have such amazing collection of jelly fish. I was never a fan of jelly fish because it represented cold and scary. But when I saw them at monterey bay aquarium, I was speechless. Their color, movement, texture, from tiny to big sizes, it was a treat to my eyes (would never dare to go near them).

Here is a picture of tiny jelly fishes which I captured.

Thus the name galaxy of jellies.

A 11 second video which I took when we went to Monterey Bay Aquarium. I tried to take pictures of these tiny jelly fishes, but damn! they move so fast. They make my camera feel so insecure :( , telling me to buy a new one ;)

They both were dancing so nice, couldn’t decide which one to focus on
Hope you enjoy the jelly dance ;)
